Boaz Babai will give a lecture about Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) trends at IDC Herzliya

(PRLEAP.COM) Boaz Babai will lecture about internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) trends, at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), Herzliya, Israel. Babai’s presentation will focus on how to deploy search engines to promote web site and increase brand visibility in the leading search engines like, Google, Yahoo, MSN and Alltheweb, with particular focus on effective methods of driving highly targeted visitors to web site.

In his speech (Tuesday 17th May 2005), before B.A. student at the IDC Business programs, Babai will present effective tools of organic search engine optimization, Press Release (PR) optimization and delivery, and blog based marketing. The lecture is part of a Marketing and Electronic Commerce course of Dr. Ari Dothan, an associate lecturer at the IDC (www.idc.ac.il).

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) provide techniques and strategies to help companies and organizations to develop their online businesses. According to a new forecast from Forrester Research, "US Online Marketing Forecast: 2005 To 2010", Search engine marketing will grow by 33% in 2005, reaching $11.6 billion by 2010.

The Forrester report, that includes data from an online survey of 99 leading marketers, concluded that new advertising channels will draw interest and spending from marketers. Survey finds that marketers are quickly losing confidence in the effectiveness of traditional advertising channels and feel that online channels will become more effective over the next three years. 78% of survey respondents think that search engine marketing will be more effective, compared with 53% of respondents who consider TV advertising would become less effective.
