SEO Request For Proposal

Request for Proposals or RFPs are when a client lists what they want for a project and then invites vendors to submit bids on the project.

RFPs give the client an advantage because they do a couple of things:

• Shows the ability of the vendor to analyze what is needed and document a proposal
  
  
• Allows the client to compare different vendors approaches and methods to provide services
  
  
• Allows clients to compare vendors prices and services to complete the project
  
  
• Keeps the vendors on their toes, since they are competing against others for the work

Many vendors do not like RFPs because the require them to spend time preparing a bid that may not be accepted and they have to compete without knowing who they are competing against. Can they charge a little more with a big client, or do they have to cut corners to compete with smaller vendors with less overhead?

We feel that a SEO vendor should not be afraid of honest competition and that the RFP system is fair to vendors and convenient for clients.

Our RFP system is designed to help clients to ask the right questions to get the services and products they need at a fair price. SEO services vary greatly depending on who you talk to, so the more information a client has, the more likely they are to choose a search engine optimization service provider that is the best for them.

Clients submitting an RFP

Your RFP will be reviewed by a SEOBy.org staff member. They may contact you for more information that will be used to provide the membership with more details about your project. Your cooperation in completing the RFP submission from is requested both for better responses with fewer questions, and to speed the entire RFP process. Search Engine Optimization Providers

Become a member of SEOBy.org and you can receive the RFPs after they are submitted and reviewed. The RFPs will be reviewed by an experienced SEO who may also be bidding on the RFP. The RFPs will be examined to make sure there is no important information that has been left off. The project will also be partly evaluated, generally beyond the scope of the client to provide the information and you will receive this additional information as well which may assist you in the bid preparation.

Because of the obvious advantage to the SEO examining the RFP, they will not be allowed to respond to the RFP for at least 6 hours after the RFP has been passed to the members. Please contact us with any questions or concerns about this process.
