Hello, is this thing on...? Good, I can publish to the blog again.
Is the G-Worm Link Popularity finally turning...?
I was amused to find this post that says Google has finnaly woken from a deep slumber to realize that linking has been abused and is taking steps to fix the problem.
Man, I was feeling like the guy in the cartoon that is carrying the sign, "Repent! The end is near!". What has it been, two years that I have spoken out that anything that can be abused with at some point be rendered ineffective or at least less effective.
Speaking of my Favorite Search Engine, I have an invite to Zeitgeist '05...! :-) It seems they are only inviting 400 people and I am one of the chosen few. It's still a little unclear just what this means and I wonder if there's really going to be room for someone like me there. We'll just have to wait and see I guess. It's going to be in October, which will be a nice time to see Palo Alto again. It's been about 24 years since I was last among Giant Redwood Trees and Banana Slugs.
